The
recital repertoire of Duo das Flores includes a significant
number of pieces written by composers around the Mediterranean or
South America. Warm sounds and exciting rhythms! Histoire de Tango
by Piazolla is part of the standard repertoire for Flute and
Guitar, as is the Sonatina by Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Around these,
we add sparkling items like Ibert's Entr'Acte, and Distribucau
des Flores by Villa-Lobos, which has inspired the name Duo
das Flores. A contemporary touch is added with pieces written
especially for the ensemble. |
